Community Support Worker/Volunteer Coordinator

Eastmoor Community Project is a small, vibrant, voluntary community organisation, based on the Eastmoor estate and they are currently looking to recruit a Community Support Worker/Volunteer. As a registered charity, Eastmoor Community Project look to provide support and advice to community members, aiming to generate and maintain community involvement and build long term capacity of local residents to participate and contribute in the development of education, training and health and wellbeing.

Eastmoor Community Project do this by working with the local community to assess local needs and respond accordingly, working with existing community groups to identify gaps in provision. Work with local education and training providers to ensure a variety of opportunities are available and with local health organisations, giving opportunities for the improvement of physical and mental health and wellbeing.

Eastmoor Community Project give people the opportunity to develop and take ownership of their groups and encourage individuals to progress by accessing further training and educational provision.
