DBS Faith in Safeguarding: Pop-up Clinic

DBS Faith in Safeguarding: Pop-up Clinic for faith organisations and networks in Leeds and surrounding regions.

DBS helps safeguard society by providing relevant information and making barring decisions to aid safer recruitment and employment. To do this, we rely on employers and organisations making barring referrals and sharing information with us when they have concerns that an individual has harmed a child or vulnerable adult, or they pose a future risk of harm to children or vulnerable adults.

Not sure when you're legally required to refer someone to DBS - or how to do it? Come along to this in person event to get clear practical guidance directly from the Regional Outreach Team, including the Outreach Adviser for Yorkshire & The Humber Tash Beveridge, and connect with other faith-based safeguarding professionals.

These clinics give you something most training can't: direct access to DBS Regional Outreach Advisers, who can answer your specific questions and help you apply the guidance to your organisation's circumstances. At this event you'll get step-by-step guidance on when and how to refer, practical tools to strengthen your organisation's approach, and direct access to advice you won't find elsewhere. It's a small time investment that could make a significant difference to how you protect vulnerable people.
