Understanding Equality, Diversity & Inclusion
Join other organisations learning how to welcome more people through their doors. This free workshop is a great introduction to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion principles and how they apply to your grassroots sport activities. Get fresh ideas and advice on promoting accessibility and participation, identifying and addressing bias, and building a practical action plan.
Who should attend
Anyone involved in running or managing a sports club or community organisation in Leeds that is:
- Involved in delivering any type of community sport / physical activity (can be affiliated or not affiliated to a National Governing Body)
- Supporting your local community as an un/constituted group, charity, social enterprise or community benefit society
- Generating an income of up to £500k
About the session
This workshop, led by Community Action Bradford and District will be delivered by Kaneez Khan, from Primrose Consultancy. Kaneez has over 20 years of experience in the EDI (Equality, Diversity and Inclusion) stratosphere, trying to achieve equality in areas such as education, health, government departments and the voluntary & community sector.
